Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Al Browne, LPC, NCC, and I’m here to help you get unstuck. At A+ Counseling & Consulting, I work with teens, adults, and professionals navigating stress, anxiety, trauma, or major life transitions. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or simply ready to grow, you deserve a space that feels safe, honest, and empowering.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, person-centered, and practical. I use a blend of evidence-based practices, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and person-centered therapy, to help you find clarity and relief. I’m committed to creating a space where you feel safe, respected, and truly heard.

What you can expect from me

We’ll slow things down in our first session and get to know each other. I’ll ask questions to understand your story, strengths, and what you hope to gain from therapy. From there, we’ll work together on strategies to help you heal, grow, and move forward.

Licensed in South Carolina, Georgia, and North Carolina, I bring years of experience from community mental health, schools, and virtual care. I’m also a husband, a dad, and someone who believes therapy should be a conversation, not a test.

You don’t have to do this alone. I’m here when you’re ready to begin.
