Great to meet you!

Life can feel especially overwhelming when you're carrying the weight of anxiety, trauma, relationship struggles, or the pressure of navigating multiple identities and responsibilities. I work with adults facing anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, relationship challenges, life transitions, and cultural or ethnic identity concerns. I also support individuals navigating women's issues, maternal mental health, LGBTQIA+ experiences, and the emotional impact of major life changes. As a psychologist with over 10 years of experience, I understand that no two people experience life in the same way. My goal is to provide a space where you feel seen, heard, and respected for who you are and what you've been through. Together, we'll explore the patterns, experiences, and emotions that may be keeping you stuck while building on your strengths and helping you move toward greater balance, healing, and self-understanding. I believe meaningful growth begins when you can show up fully as yourself and feel supported in the process.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, affirming, and rooted in the belief that healing happens within safe and supportive relationships. I strive to create a space where you feel accepted, understood, and empowered to explore your experiences without judgment. I draw from Relational Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Humanistic Therapy, Strength-Based Therapy, Trauma-Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Attachment-Based Family Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, Culturally Responsive Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy to tailor treatment to your unique needs and goals. In our work together, we'll explore how past experiences, relationships, identity, and life stressors influence your emotional well-being. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, relationship issues, self-esteem concerns, life transitions, or questions surrounding identity and belonging, therapy can help you develop insight, strengthen coping skills, improve relationships, and foster lasting emotional growth. I believe healing is possible when people feel genuinely understood and supported.

What you can expect from me

You can expect warmth, compassion, and a therapeutic relationship built on trust, respect, and authenticity. I value creating a space where you can bring all parts of yourself without fear of judgment and where your experiences, identities, and values are honored. I believe therapy should feel collaborative, supportive, and responsive to your individual needs. As we work together, you can expect greater self-awareness, healthier relationships, improved emotional resilience, and increased confidence in navigating life's challenges. My hope is that therapy helps you feel more connected to yourself, more secure in your relationships, and better equipped to manage stress, anxiety, grief, trauma, and major life transitions. Meaningful healing and growth are possible, and you do not have to navigate the journey alone.
