Aleaha Frederick

Hey I'm Aleaha Frederick! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor - Mental Health Service Provider. I have a Bachelor of Education in Education Psychology and a Master of Science in Counselor Education from Mississippi State University. Following graduation, I’ve worked in Special Education, intensive in-home therapy services, community mental health services, and school-based mental health services. I have extensive experience in early childhood education and mental health. I specialize in supporting children ages 3 to 18 as they navigate a variety of developmental and emotional challenges.

I have expertise in working clients with ADHD, life adjustment/ trauma-related disorder, anger management issues/disruptive behavior disorders, anxiety, depression, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and developmental delays. I am dedicated to creating a nurturing environment where each child can thrive and grow. Through tailored therapeutic approaches, I aim to empower children and their families to overcome obstacles and build resilience, fostering a positive path toward emotional and developmental well-being.

I work alongside my clients and clients’ families to identify and build upon strengths; improve communication; learn new coping skills; and create lasting changes. Utilizing client-centered and trauma-informed practices helps my clients and families understand and express their emotions constructively.
