Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Alec! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker offering telehealth services across Nevada. I specialize in working with children, teens, adults, and families, especially those navigating trauma, emotional dysregulation, neurodivergence, adoption/foster care, and identity exploration. I also support men’s mental health and provide affirming care for LGBTQ+ individuals. I’d be honored to support you on your journey with a caring presence, genuine connection, and evidence-based tools to help you grow and heal.

My approach to therapy

My approach is relational, trauma-informed, and grounded in attachment theory. I use EMDR, Play Therapy, TF-CBT, and DBT-informed work to support healing from both early experiences and present-day stressors. I meet clients where they are, balancing insight, warmth, and structured support. Whether we’re exploring behavior patterns, improving family dynamics, or rediscovering your voice, therapy is tailored to your specific needs and goals.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll focus on building safety and understanding your story. I’ll ask questions to learn about what’s been going on, what brought you to therapy, and what you hope to change. You’re welcome to go at your own pace. Most of all, you’ll leave with a sense of what our work together will look like and, hopefully, feel a little more grounded and less alone.
