Great to meet you!

If you’re overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck in patterns that are hard to break, you’re not alone and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself. I help adults navigate anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood changes, and stress with a calm, steady, and supportive approach. I’m a board-certified PMHNP with 10 years of hospital and ICU experience and the last 3 years dedicated to psychiatry. My background allows me to stay calm and steady in even the most stressful situations, and I bring that same grounded, supportive presence into every session.

At Better Balance Mental Health, I believe healing happens through understanding, trust, and genuine partnership. You are the expert of your story, and my role is to listen closely, understand what is getting in your way, and help you move toward the life you want. I never push medication or make recommendations that do not align with your comfort or values. We explore options together, and you stay in control of your care at every step.

My goal is to help you understand what’s happening beneath the surface, reduce stress, and guide you toward more stability, clarity, and every day confidence.

My approach to therapy

I want my patients to feel respected, understood, safe, and most importantly, truly heard. Mental health is personal, and no one should feel rushed or judged when seeking support. Whether you’re facing anxiety, depression, mood changes, trauma, or feeling stuck, I offer compassionate guidance and we'll work together to find solutions tailored to your needs.

I want you to feel respected, understood, and safe the moment we start working together. Mental health is personal, and nobody should ever feel rushed, dismissed, or judged. I take a warm, steady, and practical approach that combines medication support, skill-building, and real-life strategies that help you function better outside of our sessions.

What you can expect from me

Most clients leave their first session feeling lighter, clearer, and more hopeful about the next step, and I want that for you too. Your first session is focused entirely on understanding what has been weighing on you. We talk about your symptoms, patterns you have noticed, your history, and what you want to feel different. There is no pressure and no judgment. My goal is to understand your experience and to make sure you walk away with a clear sense of direction and support.
