Alejandra is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Texas and began her counseling career in 2021. She attended UTPB and attained her undergraduate degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2014. She went to complete her graduate work at LAMAR University and obtained her master's degree in Counseling and Development in 2021. She has a variety of of professional experience, having worked in school settings, private practice, and PHP/IOP.
Alejandra utilizes an integrative approach to therapy with the main approach as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, person-centered, and Solution-Focused Brief therapy.
Alejandra understands that every client is unique and has unique needs. Therefore, approach to therapy is client-focused. Alejandra understands that the basis of a successful therapeutic relationship is empathy, trust, and rapport. Alejandra believes the client is the expert in their lives and she provides a safe environment for the client to share, explore, and reflect upon their journeys.
