Great to meet you!

Parenting can be deeply rewarding, but it can also feel overwhelming at times. I specialize in working with parents and young children (ages 2–11) to strengthen their bond, reduce conflict, and support healthy emotional development.

Many parents come to therapy feeling unsure how to respond to their child’s behavior, struggling to understand their child’s emotional needs, or experiencing their own stress, anxiety, or depression. I help parents gain insight into their child’s behaviors while providing practical tools to build connection, improve communication, and create a calmer home environment.

I also provide individual therapy for children experiencing anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and trauma. I use play therapy in combination with evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help children express themselves, develop coping skills, and build emotional resilience in a safe and supportive space.

I also work with adults experiencing anxiety and depression, helping them better understand their thoughts, emotions, and patterns while developing healthier ways of coping and navigating life’s challenges.

My approach to therapy

My work is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each individual or family. I draw from Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Watch, Wait, and Wonder, child-centered play therapy, and CBT, integrating these approaches to meet the developmental and emotional needs of each client.

Depending on your needs, therapy may include parent coaching, individual therapy for children, or individual therapy for adults. My goal is to create a supportive and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes.

What you can expect from me

As a mother myself, I understand how much parents carry and how important it is to have the right support. My goal is to help children, parents, and adults feel more confident, connected, and equipped to manage life’s challenges while fostering stronger relationships and emotional well-being.
