Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience working with young adults and adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, life transitions, and relationship stress. I often support individuals who appear high-functioning on the outside but feel overwhelmed, stuck, or emotionally exhausted internally.

My approach is warm, direct, and culturally responsive. I also love to use humor. As a Latina therapist, I understand how family dynamics, cultural values, and generational patterns shape our experiences. I integrate evidence-based practices such as CBT and trauma-informed care, tailoring treatment to your unique needs.

My approach to therapy

Everyone goes through a hardship or transition in their lives and find themselves lost in the process. My work is based on the belief that people are influenced by a variety of factors including families, peers, culture and unique life experiences. My commitment is to provide a collaborative and supportive environment to explore your life circumstances and help you find solutions that feel right to you.

Relationships also go through transitions and often times go through periods that could benefit from better communication, exploring feelings and/or rebuilding trust. We would work together in finding ways to talk through those difficult topics. I will teach you how to listen and negotiate so that both of you are part of the solution.

I have worked with clients from all backgrounds, ages and cultures. I promise to work closely with you in creating goals that are set by you to help build the skills that benefit you and/or your relationship.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my priority is helping you feel comfortable and understood. I take a warm, conversational approach while also providing structure so you know what to expect. We’ll spend time getting to know your story — what’s bringing you in, what you’ve been carrying, and what you hope might feel different.

I’ll ask thoughtful questions to understand your background, relationships, strengths, and current challenges. You’re always welcome to move at a pace that feels right. The first session is not about pressure or judgment; it’s about building trust and beginning a collaborative partnership.
