Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Alejandra Marquez Mosquera, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University and specialized training in Relational Gestalt Therapy. I have experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, self-esteem, and emotional difficulties.

I integrate Gestalt Therapy with evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed care. I believe therapy is a space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported while developing greater self-awareness and meaningful tools for change.

As a bilingual therapist, I provide therapy in both English and Spanish. My goal is to meet each client where they are, honor their unique experiences, and work together toward greater emotional well-being and a more authentic and fulfilling life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, compassionate, collaborative, and client-centered. I believe therapy is a space where you can feel safe, heard, and understood while developing greater awareness of your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and patterns.

My primary therapeutic orientation is Relational Gestalt Therapy, which focuses on self-awareness, authenticity, present-moment experiences, and the relationship between the client and therapist. I also integrate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed care based on each client’s individual needs and goals.

I support clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, and emotional challenges. I work collaboratively with each client to build practical coping skills, strengthen emotional awareness, and create meaningful and sustainable change.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, you can expect a welcoming and judgment-free space where we will begin getting to know each other and exploring what brings you to therapy. We will discuss your current concerns, goals, strengths, and what you hope to gain from therapy.

I will work collaboratively with you to understand your unique experiences and begin identifying helpful strategies and areas for growth. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and supported, with a clearer sense of direction for our work together.
