Great to meet you!

Hi, my name is Alejandra. I employ a person-centered approach to foster a genuine relationship through empathy, trust, and a commitment to working together to identify your goals and create a counseling experience that is relevant and meaningful to your needs.

My approach to therapy

I am an EMDR-certified therapist, a distinction that demonstrates my expertise and commitment to the highest standards of EMDR therapy. In addition to completing the foundational EMDR training, I have fulfilled extensive requirements, including advanced trainings and consultation hours, to sharpen my clinical skills. This advanced certification signifies my dedication to ongoing growth and excellence in providing trauma-informed care.

EMDR is a powerful, evidence-based approach that helps the brain heal from distressing experiences. Through this process, I guide clients to reprocess traumatic memories so they can become less vivid and emotionally charged, transforming how they feel about the past.

What you can expect from me

My training enables me to create a safe, collaborative environment where you can work through unresolved issues without having to discuss them in detail. The result is a more adaptive, peaceful perspective on your life's events.
