Great to meet you!

Hi there! I’m Alex, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), a proud bilingual Latina, and your partner in navigating life’s ups and downs. For the last eight years, I’ve had the absolute privilege of serving my community through individual, group, and family therapy, with a special passion for supporting tweens, teens, young adults, and families. Let’s be real—the world has felt incredibly overwhelming lately. Whether it’s youth struggling with self-image in a world of constant online comparison, young mothers stretching themselves to the absolute limit, or parents putting themselves on the back burner to manage sports, performances, and relationships, it’s a lot. Lately, it feels like we are all trying to pour from a completely empty cup. Not only do I get it, but I’m also here to help you refill that cup! My goal is to create a therapeutic space that feels safe, supportive, freeing, and—above all—leaves you feeling a little brighter. If you're ready to bring a little more balance and brightness back into your life, I'm ready to show up for you. Let's do this together!

My approach to therapy

I am playful, direct and collaborative. I will never tell you what to do but I will challenge you to think outside of the box. I am warm, supportive and hold space for all the feelings and thoughts, always meeting your where you're at on your journey. Clinically, I specialize in helping children, teens, and individuals navigate anxiety, depression, ADHD, limited social skills, school avoidance, complex family dynamics, parent-child conflict, and chronic suicidal ideation and self-harming behaviors. I take a holistic, evidence-based approach to therapy, which means we will team up to set real goals, build practical coping skills, and challenge sticky thoughts. I mix clinical expertise with engaging, creative, and collaborative techniques to make sure our space lets you safely explore, grow, and reconnect with your happiest self. My toolkit includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), Sand Tray, and Play Therapy—and I am looking forward to adding EMDR to that list next year!

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we get to explore a few of the important reasons why you've come to therapy and how I can play a role in supporting you. I'll ask you a bit about yourself and help you come up with goals that are meaningful to your life. You tell me how much or little you are comfortable sharing and as the conversation grows I hope to give you a sense of trust that helps you return back to this space.
