Great to meet you!

Hello, I'm Alejandra Vento, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) dedicated to helping individuals navigate life's challenges with compassion, understanding, and practical support. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults facing anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem concerns, emotional regulation difficulties, and life transitions.

I strive to meet each person where they are, helping them build on their strengths, develop effective coping skills, and create lasting growth. I believe therapy should be a supportive and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, respected, and comfortable being yourself. Whether you're seeking support for a specific concern or looking to better understand yourself, I look forward to being part of your journey.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and client-centered. I believe each person is the expert on their own life, and my role is to provide support, guidance, and practical tools to help them navigate challenges and create meaningful change. I draw from evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, and EMDR-informed interventions, while tailoring treatment to each client's unique needs and goals.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. I'll take time to understand what brings you to therapy, learn about your experiences, and discuss what you hope to achieve. My goal is to help you feel heard, comfortable, and supported while we begin identifying goals and creating a plan that feels right for you.
