Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Psychotherapist, I believe that prioritizing mental health is essential to living a happy and stable life. Taking the first step to seek help can often feel like the hardest part—so congratulations on beginning this journey!

I have been practicing for over 15 years, with a background in Clinical Psychology and research focused on the therapeutic effects of dance. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with people from many diverse backgrounds—different ages, cultures, nationalities, socioeconomic statuses, and education levels. I am also fluent in English and Spanish, and I provide therapy in both languages.

My approach to therapy

I believe every person has a unique story and deserves an individualized approach. In my practice, I integrate a variety of therapeutic methods, including Positive Psychology, Motivational Interviewing, Gestalt Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Phenomenological Psychology, and Dance Therapy. When we decide to work together, we become partners in your therapeutic journey. I value open communication and mutual respect, and I’ll be there to listen, challenge, and support you along the way.

What you can expect from me

We’ll begin with an introductory session, where you’ll have the chance to share your story and what you hope to achieve through therapy. Together, we’ll clarify your goals and create a plan. My goal is to provide a warm, welcoming space where you feel comfortable, supported, and safe to express yourself. From there, we’ll work side-by-side in the sessions that follow to turn your goals into reality.
