Alejita Ortiz

My name is Alejita Ortiz and I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for over 25 years. I graduated from Columbia University School of Social Work and have worked primarily in health care and outpatient psychiatry. I am also bilingual in Spanish. I help clients from various backgrounds who suffer from stress, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and chronic illness/conditions. My practice is currently focused on helping adults and children develop confidence, insight, and skills to achieve your goals.

I offer CBT, Strength Based, Person Centered, and Play Therapy. I believe you have the power to be the author of your own story. I provide a safe, nonjudgmental environment for growth and healing.

In the first session you will have the opportunity to discuss what brought you to therapy and how it has impacted you. Together, we will develop goals that will address your concerns.
