Great to meet you!
My work as a therapist is shaped by years of playing and coaching basketball, where I developed a strong interest in psychology, philosophy, and human performance. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, completed graduate training in sports psychology, and earned my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.
I integrate Emotionally Focused Therapy and CBT with principles from sports psychology to help clients navigate anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges. This approach combines emotional depth with structure—supporting clients in building awareness, improving communication, strengthening relationships, and developing practical habits that support lasting change.
I believe people are inherently resourceful and capable of growth when given the right support. My style is collaborative, compassionate, and culturally responsive, grounded in the understanding that personal struggles are shaped by family dynamics, lived experience, and broader societal influences. Therapy is a space where clients can feel understood, build emotional resilience, and move toward more meaningful and connected lives.
