Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) with over 20 years of healthcare experience in psychiatry, primary care, emergency behavioral health, and community medicine. I earned my post-master's certificate in psychiatric mental health nursing (PMHNP) from Miami Regional University and have extensive experience providing care to adults and older adults. I specialize in the assessment and treatment of anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, substance use disorders, and other mental health conditions. As a bilingual provider fluent in English and Spanish, I am committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based, culturally sensitive care that supports each person's unique goals and overall well-being. I am striving to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where you can feel comfortable talking about what you're going through. My goal is to help you feel better, regain confidence, and improve your quality of life.

My approach to therapy

I believe the best care starts with listening. Every person has a unique story, so I take the time to understand your experiences, concerns, and goals. Together, we'll create a treatment plan that fits your needs, whether that includes medication, coping strategies, therapy recommendations, or lifestyle changes. I want you to feel involved in every step of your care, and I will always make sure you understand your options before making decisions together. I believe everyone deserves to feel heard, respected, and supported.

What you can expect from me

Your first appointment is a chance for us to get to know each other. We'll talk about what brought you in, how you've been feeling, your medical and mental health history, and what you hope to achieve. There is no pressure or judgment—just an open conversation. By the end of the session, you'll have a better understanding of your symptoms, a personalized treatment plan, and a clear idea of the next steps. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and hopeful.
