Great to meet you!

Alesia Alexander, LCSW, CT is a passionate advocate and change consultant. Alesia has worked in community, nonprofit, and individualized settings for over 20 years. Her work in bereavement and change management has informed her approach to multiple life issues and challenges when treating groups and individuals across the lifespan.

My approach to therapy

I consider myself a motivator and partner in the therapeutic relationship. I use creativity and contextually-based, grief-informed approaches to clarify narrative building and treatment-planning while facilitating self-reflective space within our session and in between sessions. I find that I am most effective with clients who are motivated, open, and seeking transparency around their relational life path barriers.

What you can expect from me

Sessions offer facilitated exploration, the naming of patterns as a tool for identifying gaps in skills, and empowerment around goals and functioning within relationships, life, and change.

My core values shape every part of my therapeutic leanings. I believe in intentional, inclusive, and resonant connections, the beauty and healing in stories, and an awareness that function exists even when we cannot see it clearly.
