Great to meet you!

When your days feel crowded with constant demands, our sessions can offer a quiet pause where you can express yourself without pressure, performance, or judgment. In our work together, you'll find a compassionate and relaxed environment built around your unique story and needs. I support adults, teens, and seniors navigating anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and stresses related to health, school, work, and home. Supporting people through such diverse chapters of life has taught me that no matter where you are on your journey, growth is always possible. Outside of sessions, I keep my own life balanced through simple joys like crocheting, baking, diving into history or science fiction, and enjoying quiet walks with my family and our goldendoodle.

My approach to therapy

Therapy works best as a collaborative partnership rooted in trust and mutual respect. I integrate a strengths-based approach with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. In our sessions, this means we won't just talk about challenges; we’ll actively try out practical tools together. CBT gives us a framework to untangle unhelpful thought patterns and build healthier habits, while ACT helps us focus on mindfulness, self-compassion, and moving toward what matters most to you-even when anxiety or depression feels overwhelming. Together, we’ll use these evidence-based techniques to help you gain clarity, build confidence in your coping skills, and foster meaningful growth at your own pace.

What you can expect from me

In our first session (whether we meet in person or via telehealth), we’ll begin with an initial intake, moving at a comfortable pace as we get to know one another. There’s no right or wrong way to start, and you don’t need to have your thoughts perfectly organized or prepared before meeting. Over the course of an hour, we’ll talk through what brings you to therapy, explore what you hope to get out of our time together, and discuss how I can best support you. You’ll have plenty of space to ask questions and see how my style feels for you. Toward the end of our time, we’ll check in together to see if it feels like a good mutual fit. If you feel comfortable moving forward, we can schedule our next session--no pressure, just a thoughtful first step.
