Great to meet you!

I have over 25 years of experience in the mental health and substance abuse field. I earned a PhD in Psychology with a Gender Diversity specialization and a MS degree in Applied Psychology with a Counseling specialization.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor, Master Addiction Counselor, and Certified Addiction Counselor II specializing in working with adolescents, adults, individuals, LGBTQIA+, and substance using clients.

My approach to therapy

Among my areas of expertise are depression, anxiety, addiction, stress management, self-esteem and empowerment, LGBTQIA+, gender and sexual identity, life transitions, trauma, and codependency. I am a certified Brainspotting Clinician & Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist. I integrate mind/body techniques with various approaches including solution-focused, CBT, motivational interviewing, humanistic, trauma focused, and person-centered therapies to further enhance the recovery process.

What you can expect from me

Therapy is a process that is best achieved by working with a therapist who is a good fit. I work together with my clients through the therapeutic process. I offer my clients an empathic, open, respectful, and non-judgmental environment in which they can feel safe and nurtured to grow. I believe that everyone has the ability to live a healthy and happy life, and working through the counseling process together, I can help you achieve your capabilities.
