Great to meet you!

Hello, my name is Alex and I’m a licensed marriage and family therapist in California and I have been providing treatment for 17 years in mental health. I have provided therapy for adults, children, families, couples, and support groups. Some of the areas related to mental health that I have addressed are depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, domestic violence, parenting problems, and I work with fathers struggling to parent their children as a result of historical trauma.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I am able to provide empathy and a safe space which are essential components for clients to open up and explore their internalized emotions. I provide reflective practice technique allowing for my clients to be heard and feel that they are not being judged. The techniques I use in therapy are a combination of cognitive-behavioral therapy, internal family systems, client-centered, and solution focused.

What you can expect from our first session

Should we work together in exploring and processing your issues and concerns, I will support you by listening to you, providing a safe space, rapport building, and the tools necessary for happiness and growth.
