Great to meet you!

Welcome, my name is Alex Rentel. I am a licensed professional counselor in KY. I received my masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling back in 2019 and have been fully licensed since 2022. I have worked with children and adults helping to process their trauma using a modality called Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, (EMDR).

A bit about my approach to therapy

I make sure that my clients feel comfortable and understand the process of EMDR before jumping straight in. I recognize the importance of trust in relationships and want my clients to know that they are always in the drivers seat.

What you can expect from our first session

Clients can expect to feel a load has been taken off their shoulders and that they have been profoundly seen and heard.
