Great to meet you!

Finding and embracing your authentic self is a journey that can be challenging. Figuring out how to cope in a healthy way with what the world throws at us can be difficult. I'm interested in working with you to figure out how you want your life and experiences to be, and how to start making your way there. I've been practicing for over 5 years, working mainly with LGBTQ+ young adults and adults struggling with anxiety, gender, and interpersonal communication issues.

My approach to therapy

My approach is client-centered, empathetic, and nonjudgmental. I don't believe there should be stigma attached to taking care of one's mental health, and I don't believe that you have to identify with a label or a diagnosis simply because your symptoms check off all of the boxes. You are the expert in your own experience. I'd like to work with you to understand your past and present, and to bolster the skills and strengths that you already have.

What you can expect from me

I hope you'll join me in this therapeutic relationship to learn more about yourself and how you move through the world. I strive to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental, conversational environment where you feel comfortable and safe being vulnerable.

My practice is gender-affirming, trans-affirming, poly-affirming, and I am always open to learning about different identities, experiences, and labels that you might use. You are welcome here.
