Great to meet you!

As someone who has been both a client and therapist, I encourage you to tell and develop your own story. In my personal and professional life I have witnessed: family struggles, mental illness, substance use, domestic violence, trafficking, and grief; and I am a firm believer that this does not define you. It takes courage to seek support during difficult times, & I want to help empower clients in using their own strengths tp develop skills to foster hope, healing, and resilience.

My approach to therapy

My goal is to create a comfortable space where you feel seen & heard, with the lens of knowing you do not need to be “fixed”; but supported in becoming your best self. I recognize that you are in control of your life and have all of the tools to continue to grow. I'm only here to help you uncover them & be in your corner along the way. I hope to do this with you in a casual style that feels like we are just having a normal conversation. This includes: humor, honesty, warmth, & collaboration.

What you can expect from me

I have worked with high risk populations for the entirety of my career and therefore provide a judgment free zone for clients to show up as themselves and take whatever they need from the session. I use a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach to aid clients in taking control back in their lives & building it into the goal they have set.
