Great to meet you!

I believe therapy should be a place where you feel genuinely seen, understood, and accepted—without fear of judgment. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC), and Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS) with over 10 years of experience in the mental health field. I hold a Master's degree in Social Work with a specialization in abuse and trauma, am EMDR-trained, and take a trauma-focused approach to helping clients heal. My style is warm, collaborative, and honest, balancing compassion with gentle challenges that help create lasting, meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy is a true collaborative process—we'll work together to understand your experiences and move at a pace that feels safe, empowering, and sustainable for you. Building a strong therapeutic relationship is at the center of my work because research consistently shows that feeling connected to your therapist is one of the strongest predictors of meaningful change. I strive to create a space where you feel deeply seen, heard, and understood while also helping you recognize your own strengths and capacity for growth. My role isn't to "fix" you, but to help you develop the insight, skills, and confidence to create lasting change in your life.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is all about getting to know you. We'll spend time talking through your history, current concerns, and what you hope to get out of therapy so I can develop a comprehensive understanding of how to best support your goals. Together, we'll create a personalized treatment plan and use brief symptom assessments along the way to track your progress, celebrate your growth, and make sure we're using the interventions that work best for you. Most importantly, our first session is a relaxed, nonjudgmental opportunity for us to get to know one another and make sure we're a good fit.
