Great to meet you!

Are you feeling burned out?

“I’m just tired.”

“Things will settle down after this week.”

“I’ll feel better after this break.”

But rest doesn’t fix it, things never settle down, and the break doesn’t change how you feel. Something deeper, more fundamental needs to change. I’ve been there, and I understand.

Hi, I'm Alexa. I’m a fully licensed clinical professional counselor located in Las Vegas, NV. I have over a decade of experience working with people in the community through various roles and have been a practicing therapist since 2020. Through this work I have acquired expertise in managing chronic health conditions and caregiver stress, living with grief, navigating challenging family dynamics, and addressing the symptoms of ADHD, anxiety, depression & other mood disorders.

Through human connection and evidence-based techniques, I want to help you feel better while facing life’s challenges.

My approach to therapy

I utilize an eclectic combination of strategies including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), narrative, psychoanalytical techniques and more - I am always growing my professional toolbox through regular trainings. I am a certified Grief Informed Professional and trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) techniques. In every session, my first goal is to create a safe space for the next goal to materialize: providing the tools necessary for clients to create lasting change and gain meaningful new insight within their lives.

What you can expect from me

My hope is that every one of my clients feels that we are equals working towards the common goal of finding relief, validation and clarity within their lives. I often ask clients to complete an interpersonal timeline in our first sessions, which is used to identify behaviors that warrant new skills, themes that are inhibiting growth, and unexplored perspectives.
