I am a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner with a master’s degree and advanced clinical training. My focus is in psychiatric/mental health. I am dedicated to providing the best patient care possible through active listening and engage my clients in their plan of care.
I am a very good listener. I will work with you on your specific need and together, we can come up with a care plan to take care of your specific mental health needs.
In our initial appointments we will review the history of present illness, medical and psychiatric history, family history, social history, and any other important information needed to help develop a treatment plan. I actively engage with the patient through open communication in order to create or deepen rapport. I communicate in a caring and compassionate way and respond positively with clear explanations. I help clients to feel more in control according to their abilities, preferences and values, and plan their treatment in partnership with them.
