Great to meet you!

During challenging times, a lot we've taken for granted - health, finances, dating - can feel precarious. I help people identify self-limiting beliefs. In the therapeutic relationship, we work to accept, empower and broad your narrative to improve mood and free up creativity. Trained in Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Interpersonal Therapies (IPT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapies, I also use psychodynamic theory and mindfulness approaches to help facilitate your own desired change.

A bit about my approach to therapy

As you and I build a therapeutic relationship, we will collaborate on goals and grow awareness of your resources. I'll support your progress through setbacks and without judgement - something that in itself can liberate from shame or self-doubt. Whether we focus on stress or emotional regulation, I value your core values, strengths and dreams to guide us.

What you can expect from our first session

Goals are an important part of effective treatment. Sometimes we want to reduce negative experiences such as episodes of anxiety with family. Sometimes our goals are positive such as reaching confidence to set a boundary, confidence to request a raise or move forward in a relationship. Discussing your goals can be therapeutic in itself, gaining clarity into what really matters right now.
