Great to meet you!

Hello, I'm Max. I'm a New Jersey resident and an NYU '02 MSW graduate. For the past 22 years I've engaged in clinical work with individuals and families as therapist, consultant, supervisor and program director. Institute training included The Albert Ellis Institute, Minuchin Center for the Family (former board member). Work also influenced by significant trainings in mindfulness.

My approach to therapy

I try to approach each relationship with a "beginner's mind." Self-reflection and efforts at growth can take courage. I am interested in learning, assisting in identifying strengths, freeing up new perspectives and helping to generate insights.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to feel safe expressing themselves freely. Often they will experience a greater sense of their own strengths and competency. Additionally, clients usually gain a more constructive and positive perspective on the challenges they face.
