Alexander Peguero Medrano

Alexander is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. He has over ten years of experience in psychiatry and works with patients across the lifespan--children to older adults. He graduated from Hunter College and has worked in acute care settings, community clinics, and private practice. Alexander is bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish. He specializes in treating depression, anxiety, mood spectrum disorders, PTSD, sleep issues and ADHD.

Alexander believes in a person-centered approach, and he utilizes shared decision making with his patients. His genuine and warm nature provides a safe place for which fosters personal growth and self-learning.

Clients can expect a combination approach including medication management with talk therapy. Alexander will focus on providing psycho-education, support, and empathetic understanding of your

needs.
