Great to meet you!

I've spent over 11 years working alongside people at some of the most difficult points in their recovery — from residential treatment to outpatient care, and every step in between. I specialize in eating disorders across the full clinical spectrum, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for Borderline Personality Disorder, and the unique intersection of athletic performance and mental health.

My work has been featured in GQ magazine, and I trained under Dr. Kimberli McCallum, one of the world's foremost eating disorder psychiatrists. I work with young women (18–40), adults struggling with binge eating, and men navigating muscle dysmorphia, compulsive exercise, and binge/purge cycles — because eating disorders show up differently depending on who's carrying them, and treatment should reflect that.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, practical, and grounded in evidence — I draw from DBT, CBT, ACT, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) depending on what the moment calls for. I'm warm but direct: I won't let you stay stuck, and I won't push you faster than you're ready to go. For eating disorder work, I understand the complex web of identity, control, performance, and body image — and I know that real recovery requires more than meal plans and worksheets.

For athletes, I bring specific understanding of how performance culture, perfectionism, and sport identity intersect with disordered eating and body image. For BPD and emotional dysregulation, I use DBT in a structured but human way — we build skills together, one session at a time.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a real conversation. I want to understand your history, what's brought you in right now, and what you're hoping for — not just your symptoms. I'll share a bit about how I work so you can get a feel for whether we're the right fit. We'll cover some initial intake questions together, but my priority is that you leave feeling heard and like you have a clearer sense of what comes next. There's no pressure to have it all figured out before you walk in. Most clients tell me the first session feels different than what they expected — in a good way.
