Great to meet you!

As a therapist, my professional journey has equipped me with a broad range of experiences that allow me to connect with individuals from all walks of life. I completed my graduate work at Rutgers University, where I learned the skills that are necessary to help individuals facing a variety of challenges. My career spans diverse settings including hospitals, jails, community mental health clinics, and schools, each of which has shaped the way I approach therapy.

I’m deeply passionate about helping others, which is why I’ve dedicated my career to providing meaningful support. I specialize in working with adolescents, teenagers, and adults who may be navigating some of life’s most challenging moments.

What sets me apart is my commitment to offering therapy that is grounded in warmth, empathy, and compassion. I strive to meet you exactly where you are, creating a safe and supportive space for healing and growth. My diverse background helps me to understand and relate to a wide variety of experiences, and I am here to provide the support you need during your journey toward wellness.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is centered around meeting the client exactly where they are. I believe that each person’s journey is unique, and my goal is to provide a supportive and non-judgmental space where you can feel heard and understood. I approach therapy with empathetic and holistic mindset, considering all aspects of your life and how they contribute to your mental and emotional well-being.

I work from a client-centered perspective, which means that your needs, goals, and values guide the direction of our sessions. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Trauma-Informed Therapy to help you identify and shift unhelpful patterns of thinking and behavior, as well as to heal from past wounds.

While I am warm and compassionate, I also aim to challenge you when necessary. Growth often comes from stepping outside of your comfort zone, and I may encourage you to explore new perspectives that can further your healing and personal development. Together, we will work toward achieving meaningful change and a deeper understanding of yourself.

What you can expect from me

In our sessions, my hope is that you leave feeling lighter, more grounded, and deeply heard. It’s important to me that you feel truly seen and understood as we work together. My goal is to support your healing process and help you feel a sense of relief and clarity after each session.

I aim to help you gain fresh perspectives and feel confident that you’re making meaningful progress toward healing and overall well-being. Every step forward, no matter how small is a vital part of your journey, and I’m here to walk alongside you with compassion and care.
