Great to meet you!

Hi there! I’m Alexandra, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in CT. I offer individual therapy, focused on helping clients navigate feelings of anxiety, depression or overwhelm, life transitions or other stressors, or working through traumatic experiences. I have a particular focus on helping people navigate the emotional and psychological effects of difficult or traumatic events; with specialized experience working with survivors of domestic violence and Veteran & military populations.

My approach to therapy

My approach is holistic, strengths-based based & trauma-informed, providing compassionate & effective therapy, in a safe, supportive, nonjudgemental space.

Life is often full of an incredible mix of significant positives and profound challenges, often these challenges are filled with anxiety or distress, that can at times feel overwhelming and impossible to navigate. My goal is to help and support you, while you learn to navigate these challenges and work toward healing, happiness, and growth.

What you can expect from me

We will start with building rapport while exploring what brings you to therapy, your concerns & goals, collaboratively developing a plan for our time together. Often sessions include elements of supportive talk therapy and/or evidence-based practices, goal setting, psychoeducation & learning about coping strategies.

My goal is that each time you will gain a better understanding of yourself, learn practical tools & skills, and feel empowered to take ownership of your healing journey & life.
