Hi, I’m Lexi, also known as That Therapy Girl. I graduated from Florida State University with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and went on to earn my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, with a focus on family systems.
When I’m not in the therapy room, I’m also a proud fur mom to two: a tabby cat and my Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier.
My approach is active, collaborative, and rooted in evidence-based practices. Rather than simply talking through problems, we work to create lasting change by addressing both your nervous system and the underlying relational patterns that keep you feeling stuck. Depending on your needs, I integrate EMDR, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Family Systems therapy to tailor treatment specifically to you. Whether you're navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, trauma, or major life transitions, my goal is to help you experience meaningful, lasting change—not just gain more insight.
I believe in meeting my clients where they are, whether that’s by offering a safe space to feel seen and heard, exploring their thoughts and feelings with them, or digging into deep issues. I look forward to doing the same with you!
