Great to meet you!

Welcome! I'm Alex, a licensed marriage and family therapist. I received my master's degree in MFT from Chapman University (2018) and have been practicing ever since. I work with adults aged 18+ who experience depression, anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, relationship stressors, and phase of life/adjustment concerns.

My approach to therapy

I value providing people with a safe and empathetic space to process these emotions. My approach is collaborative, trauma-focused, relatable, and interpersonal (meaning you won’t get a “blank slate” in my therapy room!). I use a multicultural lens to ensure that those from backgrounds that differ from mine are fully understood and supported. This is an LQBTQIA+ safe space.

What you can expect from me

I hope that clients leave my therapy room feeling that they better understand their emotions, are empowered to make choices that improve their circumstances, and have a safe space to return to when stressors arise.
