Great to meet you!

After earning my Bachelor's in Psychology and my Master's in Counseling from the University of Houston, I became a LPC.

I have advanced training in perinatal mental health. I Pregnancy, post-loss, and postpartum are the most vulnerable stages of a woman’s life. I focus on providing quality care to treat perinatal mental health conditions such as: perinatal depression; perinatal anxiety; perinatal OCD; and perinatal PTSD. My goal is to make sure women do not have to experience these conditions/stages of life alone.

I have provided therapy for more than 7 years in the form of individual and group counseling and have experience in nonprofit organizations, psychiatric intensive care, and private and government agencies.

My approach to therapy

I believe the client is the expert of their life and use my expertise to collaborate with clients in dealing with their life challenges. Using Cognitive Behavior Therapy, I aim to help clients recognize the impact their thoughts have on their feelings and behaviors and work together to identify and manage their cognitive distortions. I utilize my advanced training in PMADs to facilitate therapy that is informed from the perinatal lens.

What you can expect from me

Sessions are judgement-free, creative and engaging because I want to provide a counseling environment that clients from all walks of life feel comfortable coming to.
