I am a Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I am licensed to prescribe psychotropic medications and provide psychotherapy and psychoeducation. I have over 20 years of experience delivering quality patient-centered care. I practice with an open mind and work with my clients to come up with an individualized plan of care to address their mental health needs using measures that fit into their lifestyle.
I work very hard to meet my client's needs by combining care which focuses on treating the mind, body and spirit. I believe that in addition to prescribing medication and recognizing how important medication treatment is, it is also of vital importance to address nutrition, vitamin deficiencies, sleep, exercise and alternative or spiritual practices that can greatly affect an individual’s mental health and well-being.
I believe that knowledge is power, and I am committed to empowering my patients to take charge of their mental health. I would achieve this by providing a warm and open therapeutic relationship with my clients in which we can work together to meet their treatment goals.
