Great to meet you!

At Calmara, I provide thoughtful, collaborative psychiatric care for adults struggling with anxiety, depression, and ADHD. My approach focuses on careful evaluation, evidence-based treatment, and creating a calm space where patients feel heard and supported.

I bring a dual perspective, having been trained in both mental health counseling and psychiatric medications. I hold a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and Behavioral Medicine, as well as a Doctorate in Psychiatric Nurse Practice.

Whether you are working through anxiety or exploring whether ADHD or autism may be influencing your life, I provide experienced guidance, clear answers, and effective treatment.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative and patient-centered. With training in both counseling and psychiatry, I aim to create a space where people feel heard, understood, and safe when exploring both therapy and medication options. I often use an integrative approach, drawing from person-centered therapy, CBT, DBT, and mindfulness-based techniques while thoughtfully incorporating medication when it may be helpful.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, we focus on getting to know you and understanding what has brought you in. I’ll ask questions about your current concerns, mental health history, lifestyle, and goals for treatment. Together, we’ll begin to clarify what may be contributing to your symptoms and discuss possible treatment options, which may include therapy strategies, lifestyle changes, or medication when appropriate. My goal is to create a calm, supportive space where you feel comfortable asking questions and actively participating in your care.
