Great to meet you!

Hi there,

I'm Alex, and I'm a licensed mental health counselor. I am passionate about helping clients make changes in their lives, and achieve their goals through support, clinical skill, and a genuine working relationship.

My approach to therapy

I approach clinical therapy through emphasis on the impact that client's beliefs, relationship with their emotions, and habits/behaviors have on their lives. When clients understand this impact completely, they are equipped to make deep meaningful changes in their lives. I am considered straight forward, compassionate, genuine, and encouraging.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to reduce their overall anxiety, PTSD, obsessive and compulsive symptoms, as well as others life issues. Clients say they are able to think about painful life events without the "gut punch" that PTSD or shame caused before therapy. Clients say that they are no longer afraid of pain. They will gain a deeper understanding of their internal world, and develop compassion towards themselves. Clients say they have learned more about how they feel and that they have gained more confidence in life and relationships.
