Great to meet you!

Functioning on the outside while feeling overwhelmed, burnout and emotionally exhausted on the inside? Life has a way of bringing unexpected changes whether becoming a new parent, family dynamics, loss, new roles, or challenges that can leave you feeling disconnected from yourself. At Journey in Counseling, I provide a supportive and compassionate space where you can slow down, reflect, and begin to feel like yourself again. Reaching out for support takes courage, and I deeply respect the vulnerability it requires. Welcome to your safe environment for change.

With over 10 years of experience working with individuals navigating life transitions and identity shifts, I believe meaningful change is always possible. Together, we will gently explore the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, strengthen healthy coping strategies, and develop new perspectives that empower you to move forward with clarity and confidence.

I specialize in supporting adults who are redefining themselves through unexpected circumstances or significant life changes. Growth does not happen overnight, and it does not have to happen alone. We will move at a pace that feels right for you, identifying the changes you hope to see, the obstacles in your way, and creating a thoughtful plan to help.

My approach to therapy

Trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I also utilize client centered, solution focused, and other modalities as needed based upon regular assessments. During treatment your goals are always at the forefront of each session to ensure movement towards progress and growth. I provide a safe and supportive environment conducive to positive change.

What you can expect from me

I create a warm and welcoming environment where I hear what has brought you to counseling, and what you hope to get out of counseling. We will discuss what goals you have for counseling and set up strategies to achieve those goals while meeting. You will leave understanding the expectations for sessions and I will leave understanding what you are expecting from me during sessions.
