Great to meet you!

Hi:)

I’m Alex, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a graduate of Fordham University’s Graduate School of Social Service. I’ve spent much of my career working with children, teens, and young adults—especially people in their late teens and twenties who are figuring out who they are, friendships, relationships with partners or family and what they want next. I know that time in life can feel exciting and overwhelming all at once, and my goal is to help you find steadiness and self-understanding as you move through it.

My approach to therapy

My approach is down-to-earth and collaborative. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a genuine conversation with another human who has had their own experiences and one that helps you build insight, confidence, and compassion for yourself. Together, we’ll explore what’s working, what’s not, and how you can create more space for what feels right.

When I’m not in session, you can usually find me at a museum, at a concert, or baking something new. I love exploring creativity in all its forms—it keeps me grounded and often inspires the work I do with clients.

What you can expect from me

Our first session together can be anything you'd like it to be! From the start of our work together and through out the therapy process I draw from a range of therapeutic modalities, depending on what best fits your needs. Sometimes that means simply listening and holding space, and other times it means working together to build concrete coping skills and new ways of responding to challenges. Looking forward to hearing from you:)
