Great to meet you!

You may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or simply exhausted from trying to manage everything on your own. Perhaps life has become harder to navigate, past experiences continue to affect you, or your thoughts and emotions are interfering with your relationships, daily life, or overall sense of well-being. I’m Alex, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and I provide a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can talk openly about what’s going on without feeling judged or pressured. Together, we’ll work to better understand what you’re experiencing, recognize patterns that may be keeping you stuck, build on your strengths, and develop practical ways to create meaningful and lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My style is warm, conversational, and collaborative. I believe therapy works best when you feel comfortable being yourself, so I strive to create a space that feels supportive and genuine while also helping you move toward the changes you want to make. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. I draw from various evidence-based and therapeutic methods based on your individual needs, experiences, and goals. Our work may involve understanding patterns from the past, exploring how thoughts and emotions influence your present, developing healthier ways of coping, and learning practical strategies you can use in everyday life. Therapy with me is an active process—we work together to help you gain insight while also creating meaningful change outside our sessions.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially if you’re not sure what to expect. Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and for you to share what has been bringing you to therapy at a pace that feels comfortable. We’ll talk about what’s been going on, what you’d like to be different, and what you hope to gain from our work together. You don’t need to have everything figured out or know exactly where to begin. We’ll identify your goals together and begin developing a plan that feels realistic and tailored to you. My goal is for you to leave our first session feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the work ahead.
