Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed professional clinical counselor with a PhD and master’s training in counseling and family systems. My professional background spans academic medicine, integrated behavioral health, and health system leadership. In addition to clinical practice, I teach and supervise within psychiatric training programs and work closely with physicians and advanced practice providers in team-based care settings.

My clinical work focuses on children, teens, adults, families, and high-performing professionals. I specialize in attention-related concerns (including ADHD), anxiety, emotional regulation, relationship and attachment patterns, parenting support, identity development, and stress related to leadership or high-responsibility roles. I also integrate Internal Family Systems (IFS), strengths-based approaches, and practical skill-building strategies to support meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

Clients often come to me when they’re functioning well externally but feeling overwhelmed internally—managing caregiving roles, professional expectations, or long-standing patterns of guilt, self-criticism, or over-responsibility. I have particular experience supporting individuals navigating complex family dynamics, generational patterns, and the intersection of achievement and emotional wellbeing.

Therapy with me is collaborative and supportive. I bring warmth, curiosity, and deep respect for your story. I believe you are more than your struggles, and my role is to help you better understand yourself, build resilience, and move toward alignment with your values. Whether we’re working with a child, strengthening a family system, or helping a high-performing adult feel more grounded and connected, my goal is for you to feel safe, understood, and encouraged every step of the way.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, clients can expect a welcoming space to share their story and what brings them to therapy. We will talk through your goals, explore your strengths, and begin identifying the challenges you want to work on. I focus on building trust, understanding family dynamics, and creating a plan together that feels supportive, practical, and tailored to your needs.
