Great to meet you!

I believe therapy works best when you don’t feel like you’re sitting across from a stranger with a clipboard. My goal is to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are—whether you’re overwhelmed, anxious, grieving, laughing through the chaos, or not even sure where to start.

I’m warm, collaborative, and direct. I’ll validate your experiences, but I’ll also gently challenge unhelpful patterns and help you build practical skills that create meaningful change. Therapy with me isn’t about me giving you all the answers—it’s about helping you better understand yourself and feel more confident navigating life’s challenges.

You’ll find that I bring authenticity, humor (when appropriate), curiosity, and compassion into our work together. I believe healing doesn’t require perfection, and sometimes the most meaningful moments in therapy come from simply feeling understood by another human being.

I strive to create an affirming, nonjudgmental environment where you can explore difficult emotions, celebrate growth, and build a life that feels more aligned with your values. Whether you’re working through anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, life transitions, self-esteem, or simply trying to better understand yourself, we’ll work together at a pace that feels both supportive and productive.

Above all, I want therapy to feel like a place where you can exhale—a place where you don’t have to have it all figured out to be welcomed.

My approach to therapy

My approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, trauma-informed care, and strengths-based interventions. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor therapy to your unique goals, personality, and lived experiences.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel exciting, intimidating, or somewhere in between—and all of those feelings are completely welcome.

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. We’ll spend time discussing what brought you to therapy, what you’re hoping to gain from the process, and any important parts of your personal history that will help me better understand your experiences. You don’t need to tell me everything in one session, and you don’t need to have your thoughts perfectly organized before we meet.

I’ll ask questions about your current concerns, relationships, work or school, medical and mental health history, and any previous experiences with therapy. Throughout the conversation, you’re always welcome to ask questions, let me know if something feels uncomfortable, or share at a pace that feels right for you.

Together, we’ll begin identifying your goals for therapy and discuss what our work together might look like moving forward. My hope is that you leave our first session feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer sense of how therapy can support you.

There is no expectation to have everything figured out before you arrive. Just showing up is enough, and we’ll take it from there—one conversation at a time.
