Great to meet you!

My goal is to create a warm, supportive, and judgment-free space where individuals and couples feel comfortable exploring the challenges that brought them to therapy while also gaining a deeper understanding of themselves and their relationships. I am an active and direct therapist, and I believe that meaningful change comes from both insight and action. I'll help you better understand the patterns that may be keeping you stuck while also working with you to develop practical strategies you can begin using in your everyday life. My hope is that you leave each session feeling supported, challenged, and empowered to create lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My approach is integrative and tailored to the unique needs of each individual or couple. I draw from psychodynamic therapy to help uncover the deeper roots of recurring emotional and relational patterns while incorporating behavioral and skills-based approaches to address current challenges. I believe healing happens through both understanding why patterns developed and actively practicing new ways of thinking, feeling, and responding.

I take a collaborative, creative, and empowering approach to treatment. Depending on your goals, we may explore relationship dynamics, emotions, dreams, and unconscious themes while also using practical tools and evidence-based techniques to help you navigate day-to-day life with greater confidence and resilience. I strive to balance insight-oriented work with actionable strategies so that therapy leads to meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, I'll want to understand what brings you (or both of you) to therapy, what's been happening in your life or relationship, and what you hope will be different as a result of our work together. We'll explore your current concerns, relevant personal history, and the strengths you've already developed along the way.

You'll also have the opportunity to ask questions and get a sense of what it feels like to work together. By the end of the session, we'll begin identifying goals for therapy and discuss an approach that feels like the best fit for your needs. My aim is for you to leave feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the work we'll do together.
