Alexandra Vavoulis

Hi I am Alexandra, a licensed mental health counselor. I earned my Master's degree in counseling from California State University, Fullerton. In my internship, I gained experience working in eating disorder treatment where I helped clients presenting with anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, relationship issues, and personality disorders. Currently, I am working in private practice and am taking on new clients.

I am honored to join you in your journey to deeper understanding. I use empathy, acceptance, and unconditional positive regard in my work with others. In my work, I pull from multiple therapeutic backgrounds including person-centered, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, psychodynamic, family systems, among others. I work with individuals, families, and couples and customize my approach to your individual needs!
