Great to meet you!

Your friends love you, but they can't be objective. That's where I come in. I work mostly with people in their 20s and 30s who have full lives — good jobs, people they love, maybe some recurring drama — and want a space to think out loud with someone who will actually push back. Therapy with me is a real conversation, not a performance.

I came to this work through years in healthcare, sitting with people in complicated moments which means I'm comfortable going deep and not just skimming the surface. Sessions are meant to feel real and engaging, not like you're being analyzed. We'll look at your patterns honestly and figure out what's actually going on

My approach to therapy

My style is warm but direct — I'll ask good questions, make connections out loud, and point out patterns when I see them. We'll look at your relationships, your dating life, the decisions that make you go 'wait, why did I do that again' — and actually figure out what's underneath them. I draw from psychodynamic and relational approaches, which basically means we care about context and history, not just symptom management.

What you can expect from me

The first session is really just a chance for us to get to know each other. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what’s been on your mind lately, and any patterns you’ve noticed in your relationships or life that you’re curious about.

You don’t need to come in with a perfectly organized story or a list of problems to solve. Most people start with something like, “I’m not totally sure where to begin,” which is completely normal.

My role is to help guide the conversation, ask thoughtful questions, and start getting a sense of what might be helpful for you moving forward. By the end of the session, you should have a clearer idea of how I work and whether it feels like a good fit.
