Great to meet you!

I have spent much of much of my time as a psychotherapist working with BIPOC adolescents, young adults, and adults. I am an integrative therapist, utilizing strength based and trauma-informed approaches among others. In addition to m work in private practice, I work as a therapeutic educational consultant to support adolescents, young adults, and their families identify appropriate higher level of care options to support their mental health.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I'm an integrative therapist, which means I pull from several different theoretical orientations. I utilize elements of humanistic, psycho-dynamic, attachment theory, and family systems. As an integrative therapist, I view each of my clients as an individual rather than a diagnosis.

I specialize in working with individuals who are struggling with anxiety, depression, and life transitions, as well as families who are in conflict. I view therapy as an opportunity for self-exploration. I believe my clients have the best solutions for themselves when they are given the opportunity to discover them, while building upon the strengths that already exists in themselves.

What you can expect from our first session

My intention is to hold space; help bring light to the problems and patterns, so you leave sessions with a new sense of awareness and empowerment to aid in your own individual transformation.
