Great to meet you!

Hello and welcome! My name is Ali, and I am a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) in Massachusetts. I have worked in the field since 2012, bringing over 13 years of experience supporting individuals in their recovery. Over the past five years, I’ve focused on supporting clients who identify as LGBTQ+, neurodiverse, and other marginalized communities, providing care that is compassionate, affirming, and tailored to each person’s unique journey. Full disclosure: my two adoring cats, Lola and Walnut, sometimes help me co-facilitate sessions!

My approach to therapy

I work side by side with folx navigating addiction recovery, creating a safe, attuned space for exploration, growth, and self-discovery. My approach blends trauma-informed and evidence-based practices, with a focus on agency, personal strengths, and values, allowing each client to chart their own path to lasting change. Individuals in recovery are met with curiosity, compassion, and individualized care as we explore patterns, build resilience, process trauma, and cultivate insight using therapies such as EMDR, TF-CBT, DBT, MI, parts work lens, narrative processing, and expressive arts, to name a few, to support meaningful healing. I welcome clients ages 14 and up and look forward to meeting you!

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a welcoming and grounded space where we begin building a therapeutic relationship rooted in safety, trust, and authenticity. I strive to create a relational container that is both safe and appropriately challenging, supporting your healing and growth. Together, we’ll explore what brings you to therapy, your goals, and what you need from me as your therapist so that we can collaborate effectively moving forward.
