Great to meet you!

I believe therapy should be a space where you feel understood, respected, and comfortable being yourself. I take a collaborative and compassionate approach, working with you to understand what’s bringing you to therapy, explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and build on the strengths you already have. We’ll find an approach that fits your needs, goals, and readiness rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all formula.

My clinical experience includes residential treatment with adolescents and outpatient therapy with teens, college and graduate students, young adults, and adults. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship stress, life transitions, difficulty managing intense emotions or anger, alcohol and substance use concerns, as well as the pressures that can come with trying to hold everything together.

My approach to therapy

Therapy looks different for everyone. I draw from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and EMDR. We’ll explore patterns that may be affecting you, build on your strengths, and consider how your experiences have shaped the way you understand yourself and navigate your life.

I value creating a strong therapeutic relationship where you feel heard, respected, and supported throughout the process. We will tailor our work to your needs, goals, and readiness, with space to ask questions, share feedback, and take an active role in your therapy. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, build resilience, and create a life that feels more balanced and authentic.

What you can expect from me

Reaching out for therapy isn't always easy, and you don't have to have everything figured out before you begin. In our first session, we'll take time to talk about what brings you to therapy, what's been going on in your life, and what you'd like to be different. I'll ask questions to better understand your experiences, strengths, and relationships, while giving you space to share at a pace that feels comfortable.

We'll also begin identifying goals for therapy and talk about what our work together might look like. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, with a clearer sense of where we can begin and what you can expect moving forward.
