Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), a U.S. Army retiree. I have been married for over 20 years and have three exceptional children. My experience includes working with individuals, couples, families, and groups. I currently provide virtual (online) and in-person appointments to support clients dealing with relationship problems, anxiety, depression, suicidal ideations, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and other challenges.

My approach to therapy

I believe in creating a therapeutic environment where clients feel respected, understood, and accepted for who they are. I am trained in several approaches to support clients affected by traumatic experiences, including eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, cognitive processing therapy (CPT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). I have also completed training to work with couples and families impacted by grief and loss.

What you can expect from me

My objective is to help you identify the impact of your previous life experiences, including bullying, attachment issues, relationship trauma, domestic violence, and other traumatic events. Gaining insight into these areas is a strong foundation for better understanding your current situation and finding the motivation to bring about the changes needed to improve your quality of life.
